Suffering From Dry Cough, X-ray Shows Scars On Upper Left Side Lungs. Is This Life Threatening?
Hi, I ve had a dry cough for a couple of years now. For whatever reason, I haven t had the cough the last two months. In December 2012 my Doctor sent me for an X-Ray . X-Ray showed a scar on the upper left side of my lung . The lung specialist wants me to do a Cat Scan to take a closer look. Is this life threatening?

Friend, I would like to assure you that this lesion may not be necessarily life threatening.
Your physician is on the right track, let him do the CT and other relevant investigations ,at least it will give the direction for the treatment and diagnosis of your problem. and accordingly you should be treated .
