Suffering From Cold And Feels Weird

My 5 year-old has cold symptoms (3 days) sneezing, runny nose & he is particularly sensitive/emotional (as he sometimes gets when a cold is coming on). However, rather than the fever I was expecting last night, he said he was freezing and he actually was. He felt ice cold-arms,legs,forehead,everywhere. We bundled him up in blankets, and cuddled with him and he did not seem to warm up. He repeated often that I feel weird Mommy which creeped me out. I was able to keep him eating and drinking fluids so i figured he was not in any immediate trouble and I watched him all through the night. But he remained cold to the touch despite the many layers of blankets and he tossed and turned all night. He seems better today. Temp seems warmer (in fact, seems he might have a low grade fever) and he is acting more normal-not lethargic at all. Should I just let it go & not worry about last night unless it happens again? Or did that indicate somehing that I should be concerned about? This is my third child and i ve never seen this:)

Pediatrician 's  Response
hi madam,
as this is the first time its happening like this for your child & especially as he is better now, you neednot worry about it now. It could have been a sign of temperature thats creepin in. also sometimes dehydration can cause this, please make sure he drinks plenty of water & if this recurs again, he ll need to go to the hospital & need to run some blood tests including malaria test.
