Suffering From Cold And Cough, Telekast Gives Temporary Relief. Permanent Solution ?

Sir Iam suffering from cold and cough from last 3 years my nostrils are clean but there is cough above the nose as i feel that there is a blockage in it also my cough is always in liquid form last year one docter suggested me telekast L when i take this tablet i feel cured and cough starts solidising but when i leave this tablet trouble starts again pls help me on this

Thanks for writing to H.C.M. for your query.

I have gone through your query regarding cough and cold for last three years. though you are getting temporary relief from tab telecast, this suggest involvement of allergy aswell.

since you are suffering from this for last three years , therefore few basic investigations are helpful to finalise your diagnosis. these are-

(a) C.T.scan of paranasal sinuses.

(b) Culture and sensitivity of throat swab/ phlegm.

(c) Blood- CBC, ESR, blood sugar -( F. & P.P.)

After this much work one can reach to final diagnosis and that may be managed accordingly.
