Suffering From Cluster Of Pimples On Forehead

I'm 23yrs old (female) and never had major problem regarding pimples. My face used to be clear always, except for a pimple once or twice in a month. But, since the past 2 months, few small pimple-heads popped up on my 'forehead' and formed into a cluster. These are flesh-red, and I feel the pain, if I even touch them. I'm afraid of using chemicals on my skin. Please suggest me home remedies to get rid of these pimples.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

Inflammatory acne, as in you case, would require an oral antibiotic e.g Doxycycline Or Azithromycin for 4-6 weeks depending on the response.

A topical antibacterial, clindamycin during the day and Benzoyl peroxide for night time application would be ideal in your case

I would advice that you see a dermatologist for a prescription. Trying home remedies rather could further aggravate the problem or cause irritation.

Use a gentle cleanser for face wash e.g Cetaphil cleansing lotion twice daily.

take care
regards
