Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist Dr. Sumit Bhatti's  Response
1. First and foremost I must emphasize that you have done well to recognize the hearing loss at her age. It is important to know that if sound does not reach the brain within the first few years, she may never develop the ability to understand speech due to a process known as Neural Scavenging where that part of the brain reserved for hearing is taken up by the other senses. A hearing aid is a priority to amplify as much sound as possible.
2. The Widex Senso Vita SV 38 is expensive at about Rs. 38,000 each.
3. The Unitron 360 is an equally powerful 4 channel hearing aid which will cost about Rs. 22,000 each.
4. You may contact through doctor@healthcaremagic.com or via online consultation / e-mail / phone on this site. If you can share her test results, you may even arrange to get a set of hearing aids programmed and couriered to you.
