I also had Polio at age 9 months in 1955, Was diagnosed w Post polio 25 year ago at age 25. I have not found any meds that help. Norco helped with pain and afternoon fatigue for a while until the tolerance stop it from working. But did have two years of normal life. I never understood why Norco helped so well with the afternoon fatigue but it did. I did take amitripilene for over 20 years it did help and is very cheap. I have tried Nuvigel lately it does help soon with fatigue but is very expensive.

What Country where you in to contract Polio 29 years ago? I thought that all Polio was stoped in USA by 1970?

you need to be careful in conserving your energy. You can try light swimming/ water aerobics Under the guidance of a physiotherapist they can help you improve muscle strength . you need to have a balanced diet with lots of fruits and veggies. You can have non-veg a few times per week as you are already taking revital- no need for an additional multivitamin restrict coffee and if you have nay friends who smoke avoid being with them when they smoke there are medicines that are prescribed during post polio syndrome- but they have not yet proven to effective in clinical studies the medicines are only available by prescription Because of the side effects of sex- medicines it is better to avoid them
