Hi,
PCOD is a condition which causes failure of ovulation(which is essential for conception),so the periods are irregular.
Doctor had given you tablet Norgest- which is a hormone. The withdrawal bleeding will follow by 8 days of stopping the pills. Please wait till then & consult doctor for further treatment.
- Pcod needs a long treatment. please take it strictly as adviced by doctor.Ususlly high dose cyclical hormones/metformins/clomiphenes Aare given as per need.
-as an adjuvent to medicines you must try to reduce your weight ( diet control/exercises)
- In case there is no response with medicines surgical treatment is offered.
Please don't worry, PCOD is a manageble condition.
Thanks.
