Suffering From ASD. Going To Have Surgery. Is Angiography Necessary Before Operation?
Hello sir,
I would like to know that hw many time angiography can be done. My brother is suffering from ASD. He has gone through angiography process in feb 13 this year. Now he is going to have operation. I would like to know whether it is necessary to have angiography again before operatio.

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
A S D i.e. atrial septal defect is a common congenital acynanotic heart fdefect in which there is an abnormal opening in the dividing wall between the atria.
This A S D is four types ,so angiography is very necessary to assess the latest situation about position of arteries of heart.
It can be done according to necessity not according to number.
Get in angiography according advised by doctors.
