Hello,
Swelling in feet can be because of various reasons.
It can be because of congestive heart failure, although the swelling should be on both feet.Other reason for swelling in one foot could be because of some local cellulitis or deep vein thrombosis or due to use of medicines like AMLODIPINE.
He would require various tests like ECHOCARDIOGRAM,DOPPLER FEET etc for diagnosing the cause.
Similarly swelling on face could be because of kidney damage.
Diabetic nephropathy is one of the common complication of long standing uncontrolled diabetes. You must consult your doctor for the necessary investigations.
The ideal BP in such cases should be below 120/80.
