Suffer From Sore Throat, Raw Chest And Body, Headaches, Altered Taste In The Mouth. Reason?
Hello I've been exhausted for a few weeks now between studies and work, so I haven't slept much! So I got a sore throat one day that developed into a full blown flu with a terrible raw chest, body and head-aches all the normal things. My doctor said I'm definitely exhausted and I have a really bad flu and fever. I've never been that sick in my whole life! So i slept alot and took some meds but it just got worse. It's been 5 days now and i feel ok!! I still have a small non painfull cough but i feel very shaky en disorientated. I have a wierd mucus smell and taste in my throat and nose. On top of all that i still feel very tired. Please help!!
Hello, Thanks for posting your query. The sore throat and headache and altered taste in the mouth may be due to-Fever and throat infection associated. pericoronitis due to impacted wisdom tooth can also result in these symptoms. I would suggest you to get a detailed examination by an ENT specialist. If symptoms persists, please do visit a dentist and get grossly decayed or impacted wisdom tooth extracted if present. Take complete course of antibiotics. Frequent warm saline and betadine gargle can be done. Take care.
