Suffer From Cramps, Fatigue And Nausea. Have Missed Periods And Diarrhea. Any Suggestions?

Hi, I am 42 yrs old, severe cramps every day, fatigue, nausea and am 21 days late for my period for the first time. My husband had a vasectomy 10 years ago, so we have unprotected sex with no worries. The cramps are so intense at times, I am doubled over. I have been having diarrhea every day, mild-moderate. My periods have always, and I mean always, been every 28 days, without fail.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
During perimenopausal period some amount of irregularity is common in menstrual cycles due to fluctuation in the hormonal levels.
The other symptoms you mentioned like abdominal cramps, diarrhea etc. could also be due to some gastro-intestinal cause.
So you once consult gynecologist, get examined and go for one ultrasound. With this workup the possible cause for your problem can be identified and treatment can be given accordingly.
