Suffer From Arthritis Flareups. Need A Cure

I am a very healthy 65 year old woman who exercises regularly and typically can treat any minor ailment I might have holistically. I do have some arthritis in my right hand and right knee. Recently, I have been having a fairly severe aching...I would describe something between contractions and a migraine headache in my right shoulder blade that extends to my right forearm. It has gone on for several days and today I also feel rather listless or weak which is quite unusual for me. Although, I have noticed that when I have had an arthritis flare up I have also felt tired. Thank you for any help you can offer.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Osteoarthritis is an age related degenerative disorder. Regular pain medication, joint lubricant supplements, physiotherapy exercises like patellar tapping and quadriceps strengthening do help in decreasing the progression of the problem.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
