Suffer From PCOD. Irregular Menstruation. Asked To Repeat Serum HCG Test. Why?

Hi Doctor! I'm 30 years old lady with PCOD. I got irregular menstruation. I went to get my medical done for processing my visa. After that they refuse to issue it until I get my menstruation. So I request them to have pregnancy test & release my medical. So they did my serum HCG test.
Then they ask me to repeat it after 3 days. I don't know what was the result of my first test. I'm quite sure I'm not pregnant. As per my condition I need treatment to get pregnant. Even though I get precautions.
Please explain me about my condition & why they ask me to repeat it.

PCOD is a condition with irregular menstruation.
You have not mentioned the value of the B HCG serum test.
There could be the following reasons why they asked you to repeat it , although without knowing the value, it is just guesswork :
1. A borderline report, where they suspect an early pregnancy.
2. A failed pregnancy
3. An ectopic pregnancy.
WIth PCOS, there is no way to know when you ovulate and when you would conceive.
Yes, most women need treatment to get pregnant, but because ovulation is erratic, spontaneous pregnancy also can happen anytime.
Please mention the exact value so that I can opine better.
Else, wait for the repeat result. It would clarify the diagnosis.

If the test was negative, they ask for a repeat for confirmation that you are surely negative.
PCO patient could get pregnant on their own without treatment, However most of them needs some medication to stimulate the process of ovulation like clomiphen citrate with or without metphormin that is insulin sensitiser
