Suffer from IBS, slow digestive system. Need diet advice

Hello, I have IBS, and a Very slow digestive system. My system is really odd, I'm either totally blocked up, or running like a river. No happy middle. Vegetables go right through me, and red meat, pork, and sausage like products are out. Chicken and fish are ok. Have had this problem for years, and was very close to dieing. I need help with knowing what I can eat safely, and what to avoid altogether. Please Help. I love my family, and feel bad for always feeling sick. I need to take care of them, but I guess that starts with me. Kathy
