Hello, Welcome Thanks for consulting HCM,

I have gone through your query, as you have Temporomandibular disorder (Tmj ) now you have painful swollen gums also dont worry for painful gums you should consult dentist and go for Oral examination

Painful swollen gums can be due to periodontal problem deposition of food debris in subgingival areas.

Do warm saline gargle two - three times a day.

Do apply ointment stolin gum paint twice daily on painful Gums

For Tmj you can take one tablet Myospaz forte once daily .

Do hot formentation, Do take soft diet , Avoid excessive mouth opening .

Consult dentist and go for oral prophylaxis .

Hope this will help you.
