Stung By A Wasp, Shooting Pain In Arm, Throbbing In Knuckles, Wrist. Taken Advil. Treatment?

I got stung by a wasp about 1.5 hours ago. It still hurts. I keep getting sharp shooting pain in my hand around the site of the sting. Also, my hand is now getting sharp, shooting, throbbing pain across my knuckles and pain (like a heavy constricted feeling) is starting to creep across my hand and up to my wrist . I took an Advil . Anything else I should do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Cool compresses (using ice) at site of the sting will relieve local pain. However if you have dizziness, pounding/racing heart it requires medical attention.Pain will subside gradually within in 2 to 3 days.Rest of your symptoms will be taken care by Advil.Get well soon.Hope I have answered your question.
