Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Flu symptoms are usually similiar to common cold symptoms and is usually hard to tell the difference.
In the flu, you are more likely to have a fever (as an adult), experience headache (uncommon in cold),there is usually a feeling of fatigue and general aches and pains.
In the flu antiviral treatment within 24 to 48 hrs of onset of symptoms may help.
Other treatment would involve rest, drinking an adequate amount of fluids, use of paracetamol to help with any aches. You can also use a decongestant to help with the nasal symptoms.

If you feel really unwell, you may want to consider visiting your doctor

I hope this helps
