Stress, Elevated Blood Pressure, Feeling Of Room Spinning. What Could Be The Underlying Cause?

I have been under alot of stress in the past 2 months due to money problems. My blood pressure was always 125/65. During the last month it has been creeping up to 166/80, and in the last week 185/85. The last 2 days for no apparent reason the room spins and I come near to passing out, I know this is a major drop in my blood pressure. What is causing this?
