Stopped Birth Control Pill Due To Migraine. Brown Spotting, Clots, Bloated Stomach. Implantation Spotting?

I came off the pill 2 months ago as i had a very nasty migraine , i was giving my body a rest from taking hormones so it could sort itself out, my 1st period sibce coming off the pill was normal 28 day cycle, however after my 2nd period i had a day of brown clotty spotting and have a bloated stomach , i used protection (condom), and dont understand what this could be other than inplantation spotting Thanks

Hi,
Implantation bleeding occurs around the time of the menstrual cycle and is usually a fresh bleeding. As you had a normal period followed by the spotting, it is unlikely to be implantation bleeding. As you have recently come off the pills, hormonal imbalances can happen and your spotting appears like one. Yet, you should get a blood pregnancy test to exclude/confirm pregnancy. A trans-vaginal sonogram at this stage is useful. Please consult a gynecologist for a physical evaluation and further management. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
