Hi,

Welcome to HCM.
We have to know what type of bacteria is causing the infection. You will need to do culture and sensitivity of the stool and according to the result proper treatment can be started.
Self medication is not advisable, in fact it might even be dangerous. Consult a doctor and follow his advise. Meanwhile drink plenty of fluids if you are having loose motion.
Wish you all the best.
