Stomach Pain, Heavy Periods. Wants To Do Urine, Blood Test And Ultrasound. Causes?
I am 47 years old and 8 days ago i have stomach ache around my belly when i turn around during my sleep its kind of hurts, my poop and pee are fine and i visit the doctor today to ask for exam and he advice me to go for urine and blood test and ultrasound . What the possible symptoms or cause of this aches that i have. And also few months ago i have a heavy periods. Please help me. Thanks and God bless.
Pain around the belly button could be due to many causes like gas (trapped air), initial stages of appendicitis, any gastro intestinal infection, urinary tract infection , ovulation pain etc.
Hence the doctor must have advised a urine routine , blood test and ultrasound as all these investigations will help rule out the above mentioned possibilities including any problem in the uterus/ovaries etc.
Meanwhile, I would suggest that you drink plenty of fluids a day , at least 8- 10 glasses of water a day.
Hope this helps. Get well soon.
Regards,
Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
