Stomach Pain, Cramps, Abnormal Bowel Movements, Diarrhea. Drinking Prune Juice, Taking Laxatives. Treatment?

my stomach has been hurting (kinda of cramping feeling) near my belly button and i havent had normal bowel movements the past 5 days ive been drinking prune juice and taking laxitives and diarrhea comes out but it doesnt feel like its enough. in the past i had some serious problems with pooping but for the past year its been fine i just want my stomach to stop hurting and do go normally.

Dear mirandadoss,
You mention that you have had problems having a regular bowel
movement before. Cramping can be caused by excessive gas build up
in the intestines. If there has been any changes in your dietary habits,
look into it. If you have used any pain medications containing NSAIDS,
such as Ibuprofen or Naproxen , these can cause irritation of the lining
of the stomach and give you cramps. It is possible that you may have
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) to cause these kind of sypmptoms.
You need to have adequate fiber in your diet along with plenty of
fluids.This combined with regular excercise (Brisk walking ) 3 times /wk.
would also be helpful.
