Stomach Cramps, Pink Liquid From Anus, Vomiting, Lump Near Tummy. What Is It?

I have had bad stomach cramping for 6 days, I'm not constipated and had an internal exam last night at hospital to try and find the cause. I'm still getting pink liquid from my anus. No bowel movements at all in the last 3 days. Vomiting from pain. Drs said there was nothing abnormal found at the examination. They found a lump in my belly and said its too high to be an overy and didn't think it was fecal as it was too hard. They later couldn't find the lump when they looked again. I'm in so much pain and want to fix this

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
With the available described symptoms, there appears to be possibility of acute bacterial gastroenteritis or decreased gastrointestinal motility.
Bacterial gastroenteritis is associated with frequent urge for defecation but not getting anything and at time constipation.
As your symptoms are short lasting, there appears to be high possibility of infection and decreased gastrointestinal motility.
Palpable mass could be fecoliths which gets disappeared after passing stools.
You should consult with internal medicine specialist/ gastroenterologist and should go for thorough check up.
You should also go for complete blood count, MRI scan abdomen, thyroid profile, blood sugar, x ray abdomen and serum electrolytes.
Meanwhile, you should take proton pump inhibitors along with prokinetics for relief of your symptoms.
You should also take plenty of water and perform increased physical activity.
Take soft diet along with yogurt.
Take care,

General Surgeon Dr. Grzegorz Stanko's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Lac of stool and gas, abdominal cramps sounds like bowels obstruction. Pink liquid from the anus is characteristic for intestines intussusception what can be a cause of such obstruction. And it can be palpated as a lump or tumor in the abdominal cavity.
Other possible reason of your pains is hernia (inguinal, umbilical, abdominal), where an intestine has stuck in such hernia what caused an obstruction. Such lump can appear and go away.

I suggest you to visit your doctor once again and have some diagnostics performed. Abdominal X-ray, blood work, CRP and abdominal ultrasound should be done. If nothing will be found, colonoscopy should be also considered.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
