Stomach Cramps, Diarrhea, Clear Discharge, Feeling Of Wanting To Excrete. Recently Delivered

Hi, I ve really bad stomach cramps , diorreah (sp) now cramps & a clear gel like liquid from my backside. I feel like I need to do a massive poo still. I don t think this is connected, but the feeling of needing to pass something is similar. 10 days after I had my son (4mths) My womb has closed after delivery but had retained a pocket of blood & small tissue . That has all cleared up. But just the feeling of wanting to excrete was/ is similar.

Hi,

It seems you are having 'Tenesmus', i.e., desire to evacuate the bowel though there is not fecal matter, most likely due to rectal inflammation (proctitis) or irritation consequent to collection of blood in pouch of Douglas. Proctitis needs a suitable course of antibiotic.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
