Hi,
A home pregnancy test would read properly only 3-7 days after a missed period and with a fresh early morning sample. If you have had unprotected intercourse during the fertile period and if you missed your period now, you should test for pregnancy following the guidelines. For a better and an earlier confirmation, you can go for the serum beta-hCG assay. You may also need a urinalysis if pregnancy is excluded to rule out urinary infection. Please see a specialist for further support. Hope you find this information useful.
