It is possible that the unilateral symptoms could be due to an allergic rhinitis
on the right side. This can cause one-sided nasal congestion
, running nose, eye watering, etc. Since there is a passage which connects the nose to the ear, this could also result in a ear ache
on that side.
If your symptoms are distressing and are likely to affect your functioning, then it would be better to take rest till the symptoms come down. You can use an anti-allergy
medication and saline nasal drops for symptomatic relief.
