Stinging And Burning Vein On The Knee. Had Varicose Vein In Pregnancy. Advice?

had a vien over the knee start stinging and burning and popped up like a varicose vein then looked like a bruise afterward. is this superficial and or anything to worry about. no history other than a few varicose veins from pregnancies. now 53 years old. no obesity , no smoking or drinking. eat healthy and moderate exercise

Stinging and burning sensation can be due to varicose vein itself.

This happens due to extravasation of blood under the skin.

You can use thrombophobe cream.
