Still Has Loose Motions Even After Taking Sporolac, Zinc. What To Do ?

hello dr,
my baby is 6months old, she is suffering from loose motion from past 14days, i gave her sporlac+zinc dry powder suspension, but after giving the medicine she has got loose motion(green color, sticky).... and also yesterday night she vomited twice after giving cerelac...she is behaving as if she got digestion problem......pls suggest me wht to do......pls dr....

It seems that the baby has developed an infection and may need an anitbiotic. It is necessary to carry out some investigations such as bloods also. Repeated loose motions in children may predispose them to dehydration. You should ensure that you replace enough fluids which electral. It is important that you see a doctor and start treatment immediately.

hello. give her breast milk only. you can try mashed banana .please avoid bottle feed . also if she is passing urine well and playful u can wait. dont force feed her .keep me posted. thanks
