Hi there, I am a 55 year old woman, recently I have all over body stiffness its sort of everywhere in my joints, hands feel stiff. I know that the menopause can cause stiffness of joints, this is all over, shoulders when I raise them etc etc., my movement is not restricted, but I feel very stiff in all joints all over body.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The stiffness in all the large join ts of the body that is more prominent in the morning is likely to be due to age related osteoarthritic changes which become more prominent after menopause.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
