Started Taking Ovral-g Pill After The Last Period. Took 27 Tablets. Took 7 Tablets Extra. No Periods Yet. Will It Cause Any Side Effect?

Dear doctor ,


my wife started to take ovral-g pill after her last period(10-may-2013) from th fifth day (15-may-2013)continuously she is taken 27 tablets(10-june -2013). Still she didn’t get her periods, now she stopped but doctor advised only to take 20 tablets. She is taken extra seven days .excess day of tablet cause any side effects ????. After the period whether she can continue the next cycle of tablets. Kindly advice on the same

Hi,
As she continue with medicine, there isno chance of having period.
After stopping of tablet within 2-3 days she will get period.
Next cycle she can start this medicine after consulting your doctor.
