Hello
Thank you for your query.
A definite embryo ( fetal pole ), alongwith cardiac activity should be seen on transvaginal ultrasound by 6 weeks of pregnancy.
At 5 weeks, you can still hae a wait and watch policy.
You would know for sure if the pregnancy is viable or not , after a week.
Till then, go alongwith the pregnancy supportive treatment, as advised by your doctor.
Be hopeful and do not stress out unnecessarily.
Have a review ultrasound after a week.
Take care.
ALl the best.
