Staphylococcus, Mupirocin And Econazole Nitrate, Itching Mark, Circular Reddish Center
I had staphylococcus from high school wrestling and it went away. It comes back frequently however . I treat it with mupirocin and econazole nitrate because I m not sure if its fungus or the staph again. My dermatologist recommended this as well. However,now I ve grown something near my side burn . Not sure what it is. It itches and it is circular and has like a reddish center. Do you know what this might be ? And should I continue using those two medicines for this?

You might have developed fungal infection.
Please get a KOH mount done,
This can confirm the fungal etiology.
Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals.
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
