Sprained Knee, Knots Near Knee Cap, Pain On Touching And Working Out. Healing Time?
Hello I fell on Dec.20, 2012 . I was told I sprained my knee to wrap it and ice use crutches and stay off it. Now I have little pain. Sometimes a sharp pain when working out. My question is I have three knots one one the middle bottom of knee cap, one on the upper outer right side on knee cap and one in the muscle right above upper knee cap. But Knee and out parts of knee are still sore to touch. Still not real pain just sore. How long before I heal??
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. If it is a sprain, should not have the pain after 10 days maximum. There must be some thing else has happened in side. You may need to have an M.R.I. for confirmation. So i advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecitive days, ofloxacin, mefanamic acid. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to have a quick recovery. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
