Sprained Ankle, Asleep Feeling On Bottom Of Foot. Normal With Sprained Ankle? Healing Period?

Yes I sprained my ankle last Saturday, went to the doctor on Monday and he put me in a gel ankle brace and gave me crutches. I have black marks along the back of my heel and the swelling has gone down only a little bit. X-rays were taken and there is no break. What concerns me is this "asleep" feeling on the bottom of my foot. Is this normal with a sprained ankle?? I am off work until June 12. Could it take longer for this to heal?

Hi, You sprained the ankle, on saturday, and went to doctor on monday, on gel ankle brace, and crutches, back of the ankle became black and turned brown.
That is the oozing of blood, consult your doctor again, i prescribe antibiotics, protiolytics, and antiinflamatories for remission, Thank you.
