Spotting Seen Prior To Regular Periods Following Unprotected Sex. Having UTI Symptoms. Painful Urination. Cause?

My boyfriend and I had sex on Wednesday, March 27th. My last period started on March 17th. The condom broke on Wednesday. Now I am having symptoms of a UTI , but there is also light pink spotting. Initially I thought this was coming from my Urethra , but to test I put a tampon in and the light blood was on that. My period isn t due for three weeks and I am always regular. What is going om? It also really hurts when I pee.

Hi Welcome to HCM.

As per the menstruation cycle in a regular 28-30 days cycle the 14th day will be the ovulation day. It varies from 10 to 18th day on an average which is called as fertile period. In this period there are lot of chances of becoming pregnant when participated in sex. Hence take care and if at all any missed period is there You can go for a pregnancy test on the first day of your missed period. That is on 18th april.

The light pink colour spoting you are mentioning could be because of improper method of intercourse where the sensitive organs like vagina and its mucosa will be hurt.

The symptoms of UTI could be because of condom allergy and in general some women will be getting burning while urination without any obvious reason after intercourse. Please get a urine check for any infection and it can be treated by antibiotics. In the mean time take plenty of fluids. If the symptoms are not subsided please consult gynaec specialist. Dont get worried and next time take proper precautions.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Thankyou
