Spots Around Mouth, Fever, Sore Throat, Swollen Glands, Rashes. Hand Foot And Mouth Disease?
My granson has had a few spots come up around his mouth the last couple of days, went to the doctor and he had a temp of 38 and sore throat and lumpy glands. Now 3 days later he has a rash come up on both his legs from the knees down both front and back and a few spots on his feet . Any ideas what it is. He has had contact within the lat week with a child suspected of having hand foot and mouth

Hello, thank you for consulting with us. the type of disease you are describing that it started with spots around his mouth and he has sore throat with lumpy glands and then he started with rashes on his legs and knees, it can be hand foot and mouth disease only. if it , it can be healed on its own in 1 week, but still for symptomatic relieve you should consult a General Physician.
