Spontaneous Clear Nipple Discharge, Tender, White Nipples, Sore Breasts.

I m 25 years old, never have been pregnant and lately have been having spontaneous nipple discharge that is usually clear, sometimes milky, nipples are tender, discoloured (white) and sore breasts in general... Should I see a doctor?

There are several possible causes for nipple discharge if you are not pregnant. I would advise making sure you are not pregnant first, but you certainly should see your doctor. They will need to do an exam, and also check some bloodwork. The bloodwork will check for hormonal problems such as prolactin and thyroid hormone, which can be related to nipple discharge. Most of the time, it is a benign cause, and isn't a major problem. I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any more questions.
