Spitting Blood Every Morning. Not Alcoholic. Tests Normal. Cancer?

I am waking up every morning and I am spitting out blood. Not a lot. Been going for nearly 5 months. I went to an ENT who scoped my throat and said there was no cancer. I wen to to GI doctor who did an endoscopy just a couple of days ago and said that I am fine. Had dental work over the past couple of months and I do have gingivitis. I do not feel anything strange in my mouth nor do I have any other symptoms (i.e. no sores in my mouth, etc.) . It basically happens only in the morning and once I rinse my mouth out, I'm fine. My next stop is obviously a periodontist. I have never smoked and do not drink alcohol. Do you know what it may be? I am still very concerned.

Hi and welcome to Healthcare magic.Thank you for the query.
It is hard to say but the cancer is the last thing to think of. If this is just blood in sputum then it is usually just some damage in oral cavity, but if you cough blood then it may indicate something more serious. It can be tooth or gum issue and i am sure this is nothing to worry about.
Wish you good health. Regards
