Spinning Of Head. On Serc16 Tablets. Concerning?
hi, sir i am suffering from head spinning problem whenever i have sleeplessness, but now i face them without any such reason. Serc16 tablet relief me. what should i do. i did a medical checkup, and i was treated by the same medicine. should i continue the same medicine whenever i feel head spinning, r should try some thing else, may i know the reason/

The possible cause of your symptoms is VERTIGO which usually has an Otologic cause (inner ear problem). Serc (Betahistine) works very effectively in treating this condition. This medicine has to be taken for atleast 10-12 days for an acute attack.
Generally, sudden or abrupt movements of the neck or head will precipitate the symptoms. So a slow and gradual execution of head and neck movements will help in preventing the problem.
There are a few exercises which helps in resolving the problem. You should consult a Otorhinolaryngologist to discuss the issues.
