Cardiologist Dr. Naresh Ruparelia's  Response
hi well come to HCM.
From your querry its apparent that she has developed complete paraplegia due to
injury there must be spinal cord compression in lumbar and sacral area of spinal cord.
In such conditions body parts below compression area gets paralysed because nerve
supply to that area is cut of.Its really sad for any body to have such miserable thing
to happen. If chances of any recovery will be only with physiothrapy and may get
some help from orthopaedic applyances.THanks
