Sperm Analysis Done. Findings?

Could you possibily help us understand these results from an infertility test, as there is little explanation on the result and lots of conflicting information on the internet:
Moderate progression (80% motile spermatozoa showing forward progression)
Morphology 8% normal forms
MAR test - 10% spermatozoa covered with latex particles
Volume - 1.25 ml
Concentration - 30 million
Motility - 75%

Thank you.....

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The semen analysis provides general information on fertility of the male by looking at some of the aspects of the semen.
It is important to note that some men with abnormal results may have no difficulty conceiving and some men with normal results may experience difficulty.

Progression- at least 50% are to be progressing , so your value of 80% is good.
Morphology looks at the whether the sperm appear normal in size and shape. At least 30% are to have normal morphology, 8% is a little low.
The MAR test looks to find out whether there are any antibodies to the sperm. Over 50% is a problem, so 10% is good.
The concentration or sperm count is normal if it is above 20 million, so the value of 30 million is more than adequate.
The volume is the amount of semen analysed, this is considered normal if it is above 2. A value of 1.25 is a little low.

Some of the aspects are normal and some slightly out of range but in the present age, there are alot of ways to achieve conception if you encounter difficulty.

I hope this helps

Hello,
The interpretation of the report is as follows:
Volume-less (ideal is 2.5 ml.); motility is near normal; concentration is normal; moderate progression is good; MAR test is not suggestive of immunological infertility (50% coating is suggestive of immunological infertility); morphology is abnormal (at least 14% should have normal shape). Please consult an andrologist for a proper evaluation and management. Take care.
