hello and welcome to HCM,
You seem to be in the recovery phase of an
upper respiratory infection, during this time some amount of mucous which can have different consistency and color can come out when you
cough.
Moreover, your voice also may become hoarse because of the infection and the cough and also the reflux
You are a smoker and chew tobacco and this further causes strain on your throat and voice.
you can do these:
1. Consult an ENT and get a medications directed at infection control
2. Also start anti
reflux medication for better symptom control and faster recovery
3. Take only warm fluids, do not strain when you speak and do not take spicy or oily food
4. Reduce or stop
smoking and also reduce or stop tobacco (i am mentioning reduce here because i know it is almost impossible to stop smoking or tobacco in a few days, do that gradually)
take rest but do not frequently clear your throat
