Sore Throat, White Spots On Tonsils, Coughing Yellowish Mucus. Taking Amoxicillin. Cure?
i have a sore throat for 1 week now that started 2 days after 10 days of amoxicillin ..... theres a few pinhead size white spots on each tonsil .so i went to er and had a cbc , chem 27. strep swap and mono and flu swab all came back negative also 2 views chest xray also negative no fever at all and coughing yellowish mucus any ideas?

you had acute pharyngitis and you are treated with antibiotics..
the white patches you are seeing could be pus/debris/fungus..
take one more swab for the KOH mount..
later on it can be treated with antibiotics/antifungal..
