Some Follicles On Legs Swollen, Some Leaking Fluid. Is It Psoriasis On Legs ?
I have what looks like phoriasis on my legs but some of the follicles on my leg swell up like a pimple. I have learned not to mess with them because they get infected and need to be delt with surgically. When I have had this tested they said it was staph. I now have another one that has appeared but this one is constantly leaking fluid.
hi
seems like you have recurrent folliculitis of the legs....
Folliculitis (also known as "Hot Tub Rash") is the inflammation of one or more hair follicles. The condition may occur anywhere on the skin with the exception of the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. They may appear as red dots and later form pus filled painful lesions
I would recommend that you avoid using any kind of oils or mosturising creams over your legs...wear cotton clothes as much as possible so that there is no excessive sweating and use some antibiotic creams over the lesions as soon as they develop....Do not touch or squeeze the lesions as far as possible as it can lead to scar formation
Hope it helps
