Soft Bump On Upper Lip, Warm To Touch, Growing In Size. History Of Herpes. Treatment?

Hello, I have a bump on my upper lip . It is soft, same color of lips , it gets warm sometimes and a bit bigger sometimes specially in the morning. I normally get herpes but this is not the normal herpes I get. It is now there for six months now, it does not hurt but very annoying.. Please advice what to do to make it go away.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi and welcome to HCM.Thanks for the query.
it doesnt sound like herpes. it is more likely some bacterial skin infection and it should be treated by surgical incision or by topical antibiotics. Also, some dermatologic diseases can cause such lesions and you may need more detailed dermatologic examination.
Wish you good health. Regards
