hi there, it is often repeated that smoking is bad for your lungs and can lead to cancer but none the less, I would like to tell you that the various chemicals present inthe smoke cause distruction of the elasticity of your lung alveolar wall leading to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and the most common being bronchiactasis which leads to wheezing. The hazy appearence of the lung could be the changes due to the same. I would strongly advise you to give up smoking and take treatment for the existing condition otherwise it is likely to worsen and lead to wheezing throu'out the year instead of only in winters. Take care.
