Hi, Im a healthy 17 year old male. I play a lot of sports and take long walks daily. I smoke cannabis from time to time. A while back, I did way too much and had a panic attack. From that point when I smoke sometimes, I will feel tightness on the left side of my chest and I start getting paranoid about my heart or something but when I check my bpm, it’s always good ( I notice an increase bbut weed is suppose to increase your heart rate ). My regular bpm is around high 50’s to low 60’s. Yet still, I get paranoid and the experience ends up stinking. As much as I try to tell myself everything is ok, I still get those paranoid or anxiety thoughts in the back of my mind . I’ve noticed that I don’t feel as bad when I’m around others however. The last couple of months have been more stressful for me so I don’t know if that accounts for anything. My question is, am I experiencing anxiety and if so, what are some ways to defeat it naturally? ( Note, when I do smoke, I smoke in above average amounts).
