Its a good thing that your results for std
came back negative. However another common cause of sores is genital herpes
which is an std but it is not frequently tested amongst the routine std workups unless being particularly demanded. Herpetic sore are particularly painful and reoccur especially in times of stress
It is also possible to have sores following friction due to rough sexual intercourse or trekking or any other form of physical exertion.
Candida infections and other genital tract infections could also at extreme produce sores.
It would be important to meet a doctor to do a detail examination and for at least a vaginal smear tests.
