Small Lumps In Left Armpit, Growing In Size, Very Painful, Tingling In Fingers, Hand. Cure?

I am a 27 yr old female and about 3 days ago I noticed a small lump starting to form in my left armpit. I thought it was just an ingrown hair and let it be. It has since got bigger, and very painful, it hurts to raise or lower my arm. It is hard and feels to be about the size of a ping pong ball. Starting yesterday I have noticed some tingling in my fingers and hand of the same arm.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
There will be multiple lymph nodes in the armpits usually. In your case ,one lymph node might got infected.
Another possibility is Folliculitis, where hair follicles in the armpit get infected.
Please take Antibiotics and Anti inflammatory drug as per your doctors advice.
If pus has been formed,it has to be drained by your Surgeon.
It is a simple procedure.Nothing to worry
Regards
