Small Hard Bumps On Shoulder, Stiff Neck With Lumps, Post Sun Exposure. Treatment?

52 yrs old, 140lbs - almost size of quarter , small hard bumps close to each other but do not itch on my front shoulder era AND a stiff neck with same size lump (1 solid lump) on my neck alittle farther back than my ear. Anyting to do with each other or just a coinsidence. Both happened the same time after a couple days in the sun

1. The most common location of sun allergy is "V" of the neck, and the immune system take this allergy as 'foreign' and activates immune defense against them in form of rash-blister or lump.

2. As there are no associated complaints, it means that it is asymptomatic, could be simple cyst; still consultation with a general surgeon will relieve your anxiety, who will do a physical examination and might ask for ultrasound of the neck OR histopathology report and diagnosis.

3. make sure from next time you apply a good sunscreen and limit your outdoor activities during peak hours 11 AM to 4 PM.

4. Ask your doctor whether you should take any special precautions to avoid sun exposure while you are on the drug. (if prescribed any)
